Loaded Tater Tot Skewers Recipe
those loaded tater tot skewers are so yummy and they’re so smooth to make. that is any such a laugh and easy appetizer recipe!
I understand I simply posted a potato recipe last week, however I had lots of leftover toppings, so I figured i might as well use them up and do every other one! you may note that this recipe is pretty much like the easy baked potato skins I made ultimate week. And but so one of a kind! Who would have idea that tater little toddlers would make such an tremendous appetizer!?
and they’re scrumptious. perhaps too delicious. I had four loaded tater tot skewers for lunch the previous day. perhaps not the most calorie aware preference, but YUM. I dipped them in bitter cream and each bite was like heaven on a stick. I’m now not positive why, but I discover that the entirety tastes higher while it’s on a kebab?!?
Ingredients
- Tater Tots (about 48 pieces)
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
- ¼ cup real bacon bits
- 1-2 green onions, chopped
- sour cream
Instructions
- Bake the tater tots according to the package directions. I baked mine at 425F for 28 minutes, flipping them once half way through.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- When they're cool enough to pick up with your fingers, add 4 to 6 tater tots to each skewer.
- Place the skewers on a parchment lined baking sheet. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the tater tots, then the bacon bits, and finally half of the chopped green onion.
- Return them to the oven and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle them with the remaining green onions.
- Serve with sour cream.
